Share market update: Realty shares trade in green; Oberoi Realty rises 5%

NEW DELHI: Realty shares were trading in the green with the Nifty Realty index trading 1.35 per cent up at 206.75 around 10:44 am on Wednesday.

Shares of Oberoi Realty (up 4.93 per cent), Indiabulls Real Estate (up 1.62 per cent), DLF (up 1.11 per cent) and Sunteck Realty (up 1.09 per cent), were the top gainers in the index.

Phoenix Mills (up 0.71 per cent), Prestige Estates Projects (up 0.29 per cent) and Sobha (up 0.15 per cent) too, were among top performers.


Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index was up 42 points at 10,188.8 while BSE Sensex was up 143.77 points at 33,991 at that time.

Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty index, 26 were trading in the green, while 24 were in the red.

Shares of YES Bank, SBI, ICICI Bank, BPCL, Ambuja Cements, Indian Oil Corp, Tata Motors, HPCL and L&T Fin Holding were among the most traded shares on the National Stock Exchange.
