Share market update: Realty shares rise; Sobha gains 5%

NEW DELHI: Realty shares were trading with gains in Monday's session.

Shares of SOBHA (up 4.99 per cent), DLF (up 2.31 per cent), Sunteck Realty (up 1.69 per cent), Indiabulls Real Estate (up 1.56 per cent), Mahindra Lifespace Developers (up 0.99 per cent), Oberoi Realty (up 0.93 per cent), Godrej Properties (up 0.9 per cent) and Prestige Estates Projects (up 0.16 per cent) were among the top gainers.

The Nifty Realty index was trading 1.06 per cent up at 171.35 around 12:12PM .


Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index was up 74.75 points at 9326.25 , while the BSE Sensex was up 248.85 points at 31891.55 .

Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty index, 38 were trading in the green, while 12 were in the red.

Shares of Vodafone Idea, Tata Motors, ICICI Bank, Motherson Sumi, RBL Bank Ltd., SBI, Vedanta , RIL, Ashok Leyland and Tata Power were among the most traded shares on the NSE.
