Share market update: Realty shares rise; DLF climbs 5%
The Nifty Realty index was trading 1.88 per cent up at 183.9 .

NEW DELHI: Realty shares were trading higher in Thursday's session.
Shares of DLF (up 5.51 per cent), SOBHA (up 5.0 per cent), Indiabulls Real Estate (up 4.94 per cent), Phoenix Mills (up 3.09 per cent), Mahindra Lifespace Developers (up 2.85 per cent), Brigade Enterprises (up 2.32 per cent) and Sunteck Realty (up 1.31 per cent) were among the top gainers.
The Nifty Realty index was trading 1.88 per cent up at 183.9 around 02:07 pm.
Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index was up 308.75 points at 9057.5 , while the BSE Sensex was up 1052.62 points at 30946.58 .
Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty index, 45 were trading in the green, while 5 were in the red.
Shares of Tata Motors, Vodafone Idea, SBI, ICICI Bank, ITC, Axis Bank, JSPL, Ashok Leyland, Vedanta and IDFC First Bank Ltd. were among the most traded shares on the NSE.
