Share market update: Realty shares rise; Brigade Enterprises up over 2%

NEW DELHI: Realty shares were trading higher in Monday's morning session.

Shares of Brigade Enterprises (up 2.57 per cent), Indiabulls Real Estate (up 2.28 per cent) and Sunteck Realty (up 1.42 per cent) were trading higher.

Godrej Properties (up 1.03 per cent), Phoenix Mills (up 0.66 per cent) and Oberoi Realty (up 0.44 per cent) too were trading with gains.


The Nifty Realty index was trading 0.04 per cent up at 269.30 around 11:39 am.

Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index was up 73.50 points at 11,697.40 while the BSE Sensex was up 291.93 points at 38,964.84.

Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty index, 32 were trading in the green, while 18 were in the red.

Shares of Tata Motors, Bank of Baroda, NTPC, SAIL, ONGC, Indian Oil Corp, YES Bank, BEL and SBI were among the most traded shares on the NSE.
