Share market update: Realty shares mixed; Omaxe jumps 5%

NEW DELHI: Realty shares were trading on a mixed note on Friday's afternoon session.

Shares of Omaxe (up 4.98 per cent), Prestige Estates Projects (up 2.9 per cent), Brigade Enterprises (up 1.12 per cent), Indiabulls Real Estate (up 1.0 per cent) and Sobha (up 0.72 per cent) were among the top gainers.

While Sunteck Realty (down 0.93 per cent), Phoenix Mills (down 0.78 per cent), DLF (down 0.77 per cent), Godrej Properties (down 0.42 per cent) and Oberoi Realty (down 0.11 per cent) were the top losers in the index.


The Nifty Realty index was trading flat at 204.6 around 12:15PM.

Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index was down 6.60 points at 11193.55, while the BSE Sensex was 50.85 points at 37974.6.

Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty index, 33 were trading in the green, while 17 were in the red.

Shares of YES Bank, Vodafone Idea, Alok Industries, RBL Bank Ltd. and Tata Motors were among the most traded shares on the NSE.
