Share market update: Realty shares gain; DLF up over 1%

NEW DELHI: Realty shares were trading with gains in Friday's morning session.

Shares of Phoenix Mills (up 2.68 per cent), DLF (up 1.56 per cent), Godrej Properties (up 1.28 per cent) and Sunteck Realty (up 1.27 per cent) were the top performers in the index.

Oberoi Realty (up 1.05 per cent), Prestige Estates Projects (up 0.53 per cent) and Indiabulls Real Estate (up 0.30 per cent) too were trading higher.


The Nifty Realty index was trading 1.02 per cent up at 227.25 around 11:04 am.

Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index was down 68.60 points at 11,000.80 while the BSE Sensex was down 229.40 points at 36,741.69.

Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty index, 14 were trading in the green, while 36 were in the red.

Shares of Tata Motors, SAIL, YES Bank, Tata Motors, Vodafone Idea, Ashok Leyland, Indiabulls Housing Finance, SBI, L&T Fin Holding and Motherson Sumi were among the most traded shares on the NSE.
