Share market update: Realty shares fall; Sobha slips nearly 3%

NEW DELHI: Realty shares were trading lower in Wednesday's session.

Shares of SOBHA (down 2.78 per cent) , Prestige Estates Projects (down 2.59 per cent) , DLF (down 1.6 per cent) , Phoenix Mills (down 1.59 per cent) , Mahindra Lifespace Developers (down 0.83 per cent) , Godrej Properties (down 0.42 per cent) , Brigade Enterprises (down 0.27 per cent) and Oberoi Realty (down 0.22 per cent) were the top losers in the index.

The Nifty Realty index was trading 0.79 per cent down at 219.5 around 12:08PM.


Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index was down 9.35 points at 10461.65, while the BSE Sensex was down 6.69 points at 35423.74.

Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty index, 19 were trading in the green, while 31 were in the red.

Shares of Vodafone Idea, BHEL, Bank of Baroda, Tata Motors, RBL Bank Ltd., PNB, ITC, SBI, Ashok Leyland and IDFC First Bank Ltd. were among the most traded shares on the NSE.
