Share market update: Realty shares fall; Sunteck Realty down 3%

NEW DELHI: Realty shares were trading lower in Wednesday's session.

Shares of Sunteck Realty (down 3.25 per cent) , Prestige Estates Projects (down 1.79 per cent) , Phoenix Mills (down 1.65 per cent) , Godrej Properties (down 1.19 per cent) , SOBHA (down 0.77 per cent) , Oberoi Realty (down 0.63 per cent) and Mahindra Lifespace Developers (down 0.47 per cent) were the top losers in the index.

The Nifty Realty index was trading 0.62 per cent down at 201.4 around 12:18PM.


Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index was up 90.15 points at 10392.25, while the BSE Sensex was up 354.36 points at 35270.16.

Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty index, 28 were trading in the green, while 22 were in the red.

Shares of Vodafone Idea, Bank of Baroda, Ashok Leyland, Tata Motors, Axis Bank, SBI, BHEL, ONGC and IDBI Bank were among the most traded shares on the NSE.
