Share market update: Realty shares fall; Phoenix Mills slips 3%

NEW DELHI: Realty shares were trading lower in Thursday's session.

Shares of Phoenix Mills (down 3.53 per cent) , Brigade Enterprises (down 3.12 per cent) , Prestige Estates Projects (down 1.22 per cent) , Sunteck Realty (down 0.98 per cent) , SOBHA (down 0.78 per cent) , Oberoi Realty (down 0.48 per cent) , Godrej Properties (down 0.23 per cent) and Mahindra Lifespace Developers (down 0.05 per cent) were the top losers in the index.

The Nifty Realty index was trading 0.55 per cent down at 200.1 around 12:05PM.


Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index was up 113.10 points at 10543.15, while the BSE Sensex was up 399.02 points at 35813.47.

Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty index, 37 were trading in the green, while 12 were in the red.

Shares of Vodafone Idea, SBI, Axis Bank, Tata Motors, ICICI Bank, Bank of Baroda, Ashok Leyland, RBL Bank Ltd. and BHEL were among the most traded shares on the NSE.
