Share market update: Realty shares fall; Indiabulls Real Estate slumps 3%

NEW DELHI: Realty shares were trading with losses in Monday's morning session.

Shares of Indiabulls Real Estate (down 3.06 per cent) , Prestige Estates Projects (down 2.81 per cent) , Godrej Properties (down 2.17 per cent) and Oberoi Realty (down 1.97 per cent) were trading in the red.

Brigade Enterprises (down 1.51 per cent) , DLF (down 1.30 per cent) , Sobha (down 0.81 per cent) and Sunteck Realty (down 0.44 per cent) too were trading lower.


The Nifty Realty index was trading 1.46 per cent down at 263.05 around 10:48 am.

Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index was down 92.30 points at 11,364.60 while the BSE Sensex was down 307.29 points at 37,857.32.

Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty index, 11 were trading in the green, while 38 were in the red.

Shares of SAIL, Indian Oil Corp, YES Bank, ONGC, NTPC, SBI, Bank of Baroda, Tata Motors and BEL were among the most traded shares on the NSE.
