Share market update: Realty shares down; Oberoi Realty slumps 6%

NEW DELHI: Realty shares were trading lower in Tuesday's session.

Shares of Oberoi Realty (down 5.95 per cent), Prestige Estates Projects (down 4.3 per cent), Brigade Enterprises (down 3.99 per cent), Godrej Properties (down 3.3 per cent), DLF (down 3.27 per cent), Sunteck Realty (down 2.5 per cent), Phoenix Mills (down 2.35 per cent) and Mahindra Lifespace Developers (down 0.74 per cent) were the top losers in the index.

The Nifty Realty index was trading 3.18 per cent down at 182.9 around 12:20 pm.


Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index was down 273.90 points at 8987.95 , while the BSE Sensex was don 983.83 points at 30664.17 .

Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty index, 8 were trading in the green, while 42 were in the red.

Shares of Vodafone Idea, YES Bank, Tata Motors, ICICI Bank, Vedanta , SBI, Aurobindo Pharma, JSPL and Sun Pharma were among the most traded shares on the NSE.
