Share market update: Realty shares down; Godrej Properties slips 2%

NEW DELHI: Realty shares were trading with losses in Tuesday's morning session.

Shares of Godrej Properties (down 2.02 per cent) , Prestige Estates Projects (down 1.97 per cent) and Oberoi Realty (down 0.85 per cent) were trading with losses.

Sunteck Realty (down 0.54 per cent) , DLF (down 0.43 per cent) and Phoenix Mills (down 0.28 per cent) too were trading lower.


The Nifty Realty index was trading 0.46 per cent down at 268.70 around 10:32 am.

Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index was up 0.90 points at 11,605.40 while the BSE Sensex was up 33.98 points at 38,734.51.

Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty index, 20 were trading in the green, while 30 were in the red.

Shares of Vodafone Idea, YES Bank, Tata Motors, DLF, SBI, Indiabulls Housing Finance, Bank of Baroda, Indian Oil Corp, SAIL and Wipro were among the most traded shares on the NSE.
