Share market update: Pharma shares dip; Piramal Enterprises down 1%

NEW DELHI: Pharma shares were trading with losses in Thursday's morning session with their sectoral index trading lower.

Shares of Piramal Enterprises (down 0.7 per cent) , Lupin (down 0.54 per cent) , Glenmark Pharmaceuticals (down 0.4 per cent) , Sun Pharmaceutical Industries (down 0.35 per cent) and Dr Reddy's Laboratories (down 0.31 per cent) were the top losers in the index.

The Nifty Pharma index was trading 0.14 per cent down at 8035.5 around 10:15 am.


Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index was up 37.40 points at 12219.9 , while the BSE Sensex was up 119.64 points at 41425.66 .

Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty index, 31 were trading in the green, while 19 were in the red.

Shares of SAIL, YES Bank, Vodafone Idea, Hind Copper, JSPL, Tata Motors, Tata Steel, Zee Ent., Vedanta and Adani Power were among the most traded shares on the NSE.
