Share market update: Nifty Realty index up 1%; Brigade, Unitech in the green

NEW DELHI: The Nifty Realty index was trading 0.94 per cent up at 235.4 around 10:53 am on Monday with most of its components trading higher.

Shares of Brigade Enterprises (up 2.99 per cent), Prestige Estates Projects (up 2.47 per cent), Unitech (up 2.44 per cent) and Oberoi Realty (up 2.05 per cent) were the top gainers in the index.

Sunteck Realty (up 1.12 per cent), Indiabulls Real Estate (up 0.97 per cent) and Sobha (up 0.79 per cent) too were trading with gains.


Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index was up 36.15 points at 10,896.05 while the BSE Sensex was up 94.54 points at 36,171.26.

Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty index, 40 were trading in the green, while 10 were in the red.

Shares of SAIL, YES Bank, BEL, SBI, Bank of Baroda, Ashok Leyland, Tata Steel, Vedanta, Idea Cellular and Indiabulls Housing Finance were among the most traded shares on the NSE on Monday.
