Share market update: Nifty CPSE index flat; ONGC up 1%

The Nifty CPSE index was trading 0.03 per cent down at 1407.2.

NMDC Ltd (up 1.83 per cent), ONGC (up 0.92 per cent) were the top gainers while NLC India (down 1.33 per cent), Power Grid Corporation of India (down 1.07 per cent) were the top losers in the index.

NEW DELHI: Nifty CPSE index was trading flat on Wednesday's afternoon session.

Shares of NMDC Ltd (up 1.83 per cent), Oil & Natural Gas Corporation (up 0.92 per cent), NBCC (India) (up 0.65 per cent), NTPC (up 0.23 per cent) and Cochin Shipyard (up 0.11 per cent) were among the top gainers.

While NLC India (down 1.33 per cent), Power Grid Corporation of India (down 1.07 per cent), Bharat Electronics (down 0.85 per cent), NHPC (down 0.5 per cent) and Coal India (down 0.12 per cent) were the top losers in the index.

The Nifty CPSE index was trading 0.03 per cent down at 1407.2 around 01:45PM.

Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index was up 11.45 points at 11106.7, while the BSE Sensex was up 18.65 points at 37706.56.

Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty index, 31 were trading in the green, while 18 were in the red.

Shares of YES Bank, Vodafone Idea, SAIL, SBI and Tata Motors were among the most traded shares on the NSE.
