Share market update: NHPC, Vodafone Idea among top gainers on BSE

NEW DELHI: The domestic equity benchmark BSE Sensex was trading 158.34 points up at 42,103.71 on account of buying in frontline bluechip counters.

Shares of TAAL Enterprises (up 19.98 per cent), Beekay Steel Industries (up 18.47 per cent), Lotus Eye Hospitals (up 18.25 per cent), NHPC (up 14.46 per cent), Lypsa Gems (up 12.91 per cent), Camex Ltd (up 11.82 per cent), National Plast (up 11.15 per cent), Morarjee Textiles (up 10.63 per cent), D & H India (up 10.47 per cent), Polylink (up 10.07 per cent) and Vodafone Idea (up 8.02 per cent) were among the best performers.

The Nifty 50 index was trading 37.95 points up at 12,390.30.


Among the 50 components in the Nifty index, 36 shares were trading in the green, while 14 were in the red.
