Share market update: NBFC stocks mixed; Religare Enterprises jumps 5%

NEW DELHI: NBFC stocks were trading on a mixed note in Tuesday's afternoon session.

Shares of Akme Star Housing Finance (up 12.99 per cent), Magma Fincorp (up 4.99 per cent), Religare Enterprises (up 4.98 per cent), Garnet International (up 4.89 per cent), Mas Financial Services (up 2.51 per cent), Shriram Transport Finance (up 1.94 per cent), Muthoot Finance (up 1.85 per cent) and IIFL Wealth Management (up 1.69 per cent) were among the top gainers.

While Reliance Home Finance (down 4.74 per cent), Centrum Capital (down 4.44 per cent), India Home Loan (down 3.70 per cent), Dewan Housing Finance Corporation (down 3.55 per cent), SRG Housing Finance (down 2.38 per cent), Alps Motor Finance Ltd (down 2.22 per cent), Indiabulls Ventures (down 2.15 per cent) and Edelweiss Financial Services (down 1.96 per cent) were among the top losers.


The NSE Nifty-50 index was trading 3.30 points up at 12332.85, while the 30 shares BSE Sensex was down 5.28 points at 41854.41 at around 02:20 pm.

ITC (up 1.44 per cent), Hero MotoCorp (up 1.32 per cent), Axis Bank (up 1.13 per cent), NTPC (up 1.03 per cent), Nestle India (up 1.01 per cent), Mahindra & Mahindra (up 0.84 per cent), HCL Technologies (up 0.8 per cent), Tech Mahindra (up 0.76 per cent), Tata Consultancy (up 0.6 per cent) and Tata Steel (up 0.55 per cent) were among the top gainers in the Sensex pack.

On the other hand, IndusInd Bank (down 1.65 per cent), State Bank of India (down 1.04 per cent), Reliance Industries (down 1.02 per cent), Kotak Mahindra Bank (down 0.96 per cent), Larsen & Toubro (down 0.86 per cent), ICICI Bank (down 0.5 per cent), Infosys (down 0.2 per cent) and HDFC Bank (down 0.12 per cent) were trading in the red.
