Share market update: MMTC, Bandhan Bank among top gainers on BSE

NEW DELHI: The domestic equity benchmark BSE Sensex was trading 485.15 points down at 29461.62 on account of selling in frontline bluechip counters.
Shares of Unichem Labs (up 20.00 per cent), Remsons Ind (up 19.96 per cent), Samrat Pharma (up 19.90 per cent), MAC Hotels Ltd. (up 19.30 per cent), Gandhi Special (up 19.19 per cent), Intense Tech (up 19.05 per cent), RDB Rasayans (up 18.59 per cent), Aditya Consumer Marketing Ltd. (up 18.52 per cent), Matrimony.com Ltd. (up 18.07 per cent) and Pradeep Metals (up 18.03 per cent), MMTC (up 13 per cent) and Bandhan Bank (up 11 per cent) and were among the top performers.
The Nifty 50 index was trading 62 points down at 8579.45.
Among the 50 components in the Nifty index, 19 shares were trading in the green, while 30 were in the red.
