Share market update: Mining stocks trade lower; NMDC dips over 8%

NEW DELHI: Mining stocks were trading in the negative zone in Monday's afternoon session.

Shares of Oriental Trimex (down 13.35 per cent), NMDC Ltd (down 8.68 per cent), KIOCL (down 6.28 per cent), ASI Inds (down 6.22 per cent), 20 Microns (down 6.22 per cent), Pokarna (down 5.00 per cent), Ceeta Industries (down 5.00 per cent), Inani Marbles (down 4.97 per cent), Orissa Minerals Development Company (down 4.93 per cent) and Auroma Coke (down 4.90 per cent) were among the top losers.

The NSE Nifty50 index was trading 438.95 points down at 10550.5 , while the 30share BSE Sensex was down 1589.48 points at 35987.14 at around 12:27 pm.
