Share market update: Mining stocks mixed; MOIL slips 5%

NEW DELHI: Mining stocks were trading on a mixed note in Wednesday's afternoon session.

Shares of ASI Industries (up 5.87 per cent), Ashapura Minechem (up 4.81 per cent), Orissa Minerals Development Company (up 2.88 per cent), KIOCL (up 2.53 per cent), Coal India (up 2.34 per cent), Aro Granite Industries (up 1.32 per cent), Inani Marbles (up 0.58 per cent) and 20 Microns (up 0.18 per cent) were among the top gainers.

Madhav Marbles and Granites (down 6.73 per cent), Divyashakti Granites (down 4.96 per cent), MOIL (down 4.94 per cent), Shirpur Gold Refinery (down 2.08 per cent), Sandur Manganese & Iron Ores (down 1.45 per cent), NMDC Ltd (down 1.32 per cent), Gujarat Mineral Development Corporation (down 1.12 per cent) and Deccan Gold Mines (down 0.67 per cent) were among the top losers.


The NSE Nifty50 index was trading 10.10 points up at 10461.55 , while the 30share BSE Sensex was up 95.23 points at 35730.18 at around 12:25 pm.
