Share market update: Mining stocks down; Coal India dips 2%

NEW DELHI: Mining stocks were trading in the negative zone in Monday's afternoon session.

Shares of Terrascope Ventures (down 4.85 per cent), Pacific Industries (down 4.07 per cent), Ashapura Minechem (down 3.93 per cent), Divyashakti Granites (down 3.13 per cent), Orissa Minerals Development Company (down 2.60 per cent), MOIL (down 2.31 per cent), ASI Inds (down 2.18 per cent), Coal India (down 1.84 per cent), 20 Microns (down 1.45 per cent) and Aro Granite Industries (down 1.39 per cent) were among the top losers.

The NSE Nifty50 index was trading 122.35 points down at 11958.5, while the 30share BSE Sensex was down 380.92 points at 40789.2 at around 12:39 pm.
