Share market update: Mining stocks dip; Shirpur Gold Refinery slips 5%
The NSE Nifty50 index was trading 108.90 points down at 12,020.60.

NEW DELHI: Mining stocks were trading lower in Thursday's afternoon session.
Shares of Pokarna (down 4.96 per cent), Shirpur Gold Refinery (down 4.94 per cent), Glittek Granites (down 4.62 per cent), ASI Inds (down 4.41 per cent), Divyashakti Granites (down 3.74 per cent), Gujarat Mineral Dvpt Corporation (down 2.51 per cent), NMDC Ltd (down 2.16 per cent), 20 Microns (down 2.00 per cent), Sandur Manganese & Iron Ores (down 1.84 per cent) and KIOCL (down 1.31 per cent) were among the top losers.
The NSE Nifty50 index was trading 108.90 points down at 12,020.60, while the 30share BSE Sensex was down 323.83 points at 40874.83 at around 02:20 pm.
Bajaj Auto (up 1.9 per cent), ICICI Bank (up 0.59 per cent), Power Grid Corporation of India (up 0.44 per cent), HDFC (up 0.37 per cent) and Maruti Suzuki (up 0.02 per cent) were among the top gainers in the Nifty pack.
On the other hand, State Bank of India (down 2.5 per cent), Reliance Industries (down 2.38 per cent), IndusInd Bank (down 2.14 per cent), Oil & Natural Gas Corporation (down 1.83 per cent) were trading in the red.
