Share market update: Mining stocks advance; Shiva Granito surges 20%

NEW DELHI: Mining stocks were trading in the green in Tuesday's afternoon session.

Shares of Shiva Granito Export (up 19.51 per cent), Orissa Minerals Development Company Ltd. (up 8.33 per cent), ASI Industries Ltd. (up 7.91 per cent), Inani Marbles & Industries Ltd. (up 4.89 per cent), Deccan Gold Mines Ltd. (up 4.89 per cent), Aro Granite Industries Ltd. (up 4.54 per cent), Ashapura Minechem Ltd. (up 3.92 per cent), Shirpur Gold Refinery Ltd. (up 3.38 per cent), 20 Microns (up 1.62 per cent) and KIOCL (up 1.46 per cent) were among the top gainers.

RE Inds Solutions (down 15.33 per cent), Divyashakti Granites (down 4.96 per cent), Pacific Industries (down 3.31 per cent), Pokarna (down 0.80 per cent), Coal India (down 0.70 per cent) and Madhav Marbles and Granites (down 0.53 per cent) were among the top losers.


The NSE Nifty50 index was trading 93.10 points up at 12124.6 , while the 30share BSE Sensex was up 288.58 points at 41268.2 at around 12:13 pm.
