Share market update: Metal shares mixed; MOIL rises over 2%
Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index was down 46.85 points at 10,841.5 while BSE Sensex was down 151.84 points at 36,118.23.

NEW DELHI: Metal shares were trading mixed with the Nifty Metal index up 0.16 per cent at 3180.1 on Tuesday.
Shares of MOIL (up 2.46 per cent), Vedanta (up 1.09 per cent), Hindustan Zinc (up 1.06 per cent) and JSW Steel (up 1.02 per cent) were the top performers in the index.
Welspun Corp (down 3.42 per cent), APL Apollo Tubes (down 1.09 per cent), Jindal Stainless (Hisar) (down 0.99 per cent) and Hindustan Copper (down 0.98 per cent) were trading in the red.

Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty index, 18 were trading in the green, while 31 were in the red.
Shares of YES Bank, Tata Motors, BHEL, Indian Oil Corp, Sun Pharma, Bank of Baroda, SBI, ICICI Bank, Vedanta, NTPC, Ashok Leyland, ONGC, SAIL and BEL were among the most traded shares on the NSE.
