Share market update: Market trade higher, but these stocks suffer

Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty index, 42 were in the green and 8 were in the red.

YES Bank, Reliance Industries, Vedanta, BPCL and Hindalco Industries were among the losers in the Nifty index.
NEW DELHI: Shares of Cerebra Integrated Technologies (down 8.49 per cent), Kwality (down 4.78 per cent), J.kumar Infraprojects (down 4.41 per cent) and HCC (down 4.11 per cent) plunged in the morning session on Friday even as market was in the green territory.

YES Bank (down 3.94 per cent), Capri Global (down 3.77 per cent), PNB Gilts (down 2.88 per cent), Gallantt Ispat (down 2.53 per cent), Vakrangee (down 2.49 per cent) and Union Bank India (down 2.38 per cent) also declined in trade.

Equity market was up despite weak global cues in the wake of a renewed trade war worries.


The NSE Nifty index was trading 41.75 points up at 11,718.55, while the BSE Sensex was up 110.5 points at 38,800.6 around 09:50 am.

Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty index, 42 were in the green and 8 were in the red.

Bharti Infratel, HCL Technologies, Dr. Reddy's Laboratories, Wipro and Sun Pharma were among the top gainers, while YES Bank, Reliance Industries, Vedanta, BPCL and Hindalco Industries were among the losers in the Nifty index.
