Share market update: Market in the green; these stocks make merry
Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index was up 36 points at 11,716, while the BSE Sensex was up 127 points at 38,773.

NEW DELHI: Shares of Hinduja Global Solutions (up 8.84 per cent), Vindhya Telelink (up 7.16 per cent), Asahi India Glass (up 6.73 per cent), Ingersoll Rand (India) (up 6.68 per cent) and Globus Spirits (up 6.68 per cent) jumped over 6 per cent on NSE in the morning session of trade on Monday.
Shares of Sintex Industries (up 6.38 per cent), Nectar Lifesciences (up 6.34 per cent), Shriram EPC (up 6.11 per cent), Hotel Leela (up 6.10 per cent) and Network18 Media (up 6.10 per cent) too were trading over 6 per cent higher around the same time.
Market was in the positive terrain as strong GDP numbers and rupee's improved health came as a welcome relief for investors.

Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty index, 33 were trading in the green, while 17 were in the red.
Wipro was leading among Nifty scrips, buoyed by reports of its deal with Alight Solutions.
The IT major has signed its largest-ever contract, a $1.6 billion deal, with Illinois-based Alight Solutions, giving a boost to chief executive Abidali Neemuchwala’s over a two-year push to get more digital deals to drive growth.
Dr. Reddy's Laboratories, Eicher Motors, Lupin and Adani Ports & SEZ too were among the top gainers in the Nifty index.
