Share market update: Mahindra CIE, McDowell Holdings among top gainers on BSE

NEW DELHI: The domestic equity benchmark BSE Sensex was trading 29.73 points down at 37,298.28 on account of selling in frontline bluechip counters.

Shares of Ind Renewable Energy (up 20 per cent) , McDowell Holdings (up 19.82 per cent) , Medico Intercontinental (up 19.52 per cent) , Gayatri Highways (up 18.57 per cent), SNL Bearings (up 14.98 per cent), Munjal Auto Industries (up 14.94 per cent), Mukand Engineering (up 13.64 per cent), SKM Egg Products (up 10.88 per cent) , Sahara Housing (up 10.69 per cent), Starlite Components (up 10.53 per cent) and Mahindra CIE Automotive (5.59 per cent) were among the top performers.

The Nifty 50 index was trading 19.60 points down at 10,997.40.


Among the 50 components in the Nifty index, 14 shares were trading in the green, while 35 were in the red.
