Share market update: Lakshmi Vilas Bank, Eros Media among top gainers on BSE
Among the 50 components in the Nifty index, 24 shares were trading in the green, while 26 were in the red.

NEW DELHI: The domestic equity benchmark BSE Sensex was trading 38.94 points down at 41,267.09 on account of selling in frontline bluechip counters.
Shares of Capital India Finance (up 18.52 per cent) , Prithvi Exchange (up 15.19 per cent) , TTML (up 13.51 per cent) , Munjal Auto Industries (up 11.57 per cent) , Resonance (up 11.24 per cent) , Ducon Infratech (up 10.69 per cent) , Geojit Financial (up 10.15 per cent) , Ruchi Soya Inds (up 10.00 per cent) , Lakshmi Vilas Bank (up 10.00 per cent) and Eros Media (up 9.97 per cent) were among the top performers.
The Nifty 50 index was trading 14.90 points down at 12,123.05.
