Share market update: Kotak Bank, Vimta Labs among top gainers on BSE
Among the 50 components in the Nifty index, 38 shares were trading in the green, while 12 were in the red.

NEW DELHI: The domestic equity benchmark BSE Sensex was trading 132.17 points up at 41,045.99 on account of buying in frontline bluechip counters.
Shares of Suncare Traders Ltd. (up 19.27 per cent), Vimta Labs (up 15.67 per cent), Rajshree Sugars (up 13.98 per cent), Everest Kanto (up 13.51 per cent), Lotus Eye Hosp (up 12.40 per cent), Vascon Engineer (up 9.26 per cent), Inditrade Capital (up 8.82 per cent), Goodluck India (up 8.79 per cent), SIL Investments (up 8.71 per cent), Goblin India Ltd. (up 8.32 per cent) and Kotak Mahindra Bank (up 5 per cent) were among the top performers.
The Nifty 50 index was trading 47.10 points up at 12,082.90.
