Share market update: JP Power, IFCI among top gainers on BSE

NEW DELHI: The domestic equity benchmark BSE Sensex was trading 14.04 points down at 40,788.13 on account of selling in frontline bluechip counters.

Shares of Ambalal Sarabhai (up 14.38 per cent) , Kerala Ayurveda (up 11.84 per cent) , Kkalpana lndustries (up 9.86 per cent) , Lykis Ltd (up 9.73 per cent) , Iris Mediaworks (up 9.65 per cent) , Zenith Exports (up 9.48 per cent) , JP Power (up 9.45 per cent) , Magna Electro (up 9.00 per cent) , IFCI (up 8.88 per cent), Jagsonpal Pharma (up 8.61 per cent) and IFCI (up 6.02 per cent) were among the top gainers.

The Nifty 50 index was trading 9.60 points down at 12,038.60.


Among the 50 components in the Nifty index, 22 shares were trading in the green, while 27 were in the red.
