Share market update: JK Tyre, Symphony among top gainers on BSE
Among the 50 components in the Nifty index, 28 shares were trading in the green, while 22 were in the red.

NEW DELHI: The domestic equity benchmark BSE Sensex was trading 165.09 points down at 30214.72 on account of selling in frontline bluechip counters.
Shares of Bombay Rayon (up 20.00 per cent), GCM Communications (up 19.94 per cent), Birla Cable (up 18.68 per cent), Anuroop Packaging Ltd. (up 18.56 per cent), Cian Healthcare (up 17.65 per cent), HB Portfolio (up 17.24 per cent), Goodyear India (up 16.22 per cent), SAL Automotive Ltd. (up 14.74 per cent), SMS Lifesciences India Ltd. (up 14.20 per cent), WEP Solutions (up 13.64 per cent), Symphony (up 10 per cent) and JK Tyre (up 9.91 per cent) were among the top performers.
The Nifty 50 index was trading 37.10 points down at 8888.20 .
