Share market update: IOB, Srei Infra among top gainers on BSE

NEW DELHI: The domestic equity benchmark BSE Sensex was trading 266.76 points up at 36,967.92 on account of buying in frontline bluechip counters.

Shares of Sahara Housing (up 19.90 per cent), Pritika Auto Industries (up 19.76 per cent), RDB Rasayans (up 19.69 per cent), Gujarat Hy-Spin (up 19.15 per cent), Clarus Infra (up 17.14 per cent), Acknit Industries (up 17.08 per cent), Tips Industries (up 17.03 per cent), Prima Plastics (up 15.97 per cent), Vishnu Chem (up 15.80 per cent), Srei Infrastructure (up 8.50 per cent) and Indian Overseas Bank (up 8.50 per cent) were among the top performers.

The Nifty 50 index was trading 74.40 points up at 10,903.75.


Among the 50 components in the Nifty index, 31 shares were trading in the green, while 19 were in the red.
