Share market update: Infra stocks rise; RInfra climbs 5%

NEW DELHI: Shares of infrastructure companies were trading in the green in Thursday's afternoon session.

Shares of Vodafone Idea (up 7.14 per cent), Reliance Infrastructure (up 4.89 per cent), CG Power & Industrial Solutions (up 4.73 per cent), GMR Infrastructure (up 3.25 per cent), Larsen & Toubro (up 2.92 per cent), Reliance Power (up 2.38 per cent), NCC (up 1.58 per cent), NBCC (India) (up 1.12 per cent), Engineers India (up 1.01 per cent), NTPC (up 0.94 per cent), Tata Power Company (up 0.93 per cent), Torrent Power (up 0.93 per cent), Bharti Airtel (up 0.73 per cent), Adani Power (up 0.72 per cent), Siemens (up 0.5 per cent), Adani Ports & Special Economic Zone (up 0.48 per cent) and Interglobe Aviation (up 0.26 per cent) were among the top gainers.

The Nifty Infrastructure index was trading 0.9 per cent up at 3351.55 around 12:01 pm.


Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index was up 26.15 points at 12133.05 , while the BSE Sensex was up 93.11 points at 41208.49 .

Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty index, 29 were trading in the green, while 21 were in the red.

Shares of Vodafone Idea, YES Bank, Indian Oil Corp, Tata Motors, Zee Ent., Axis Bank, RBL Bank Ltd., SBI and GMR Infra were among the most traded shares on the NSE.
