Share market update: IndusInd Bank, Bandhan Bank among top gainers on BSE

NEW DELHI: The domestic equity benchmark BSE Sensex was trading 1120.31 points up at 29656.09 on account of buying in frontline bluechip counters.
Shares of IndusInd Bank (up 39.99 per cent), Bandhan Bank Ltd. (up 33.79 per cent), Piramal Ent. (up 28.54 per cent), Paul Merchants Ltd. (up 20.00 per cent), Punjab Alkalies (up 20.00 per cent), Indoco Remedies (up 20.00 per cent), Jai Balaji Inds (up 20.00 per cent), Prajay Engg (up 19.94 per cent), Gateway (up 19.62 per cent) and International Conveyors (up 19.33 per cent) were among the top performers.
The Nifty 50 index was trading 286.80 points up at 8604.65.
Among the 50 components in the Nifty index, 41 shares were trading in the green, while 9 were in the red.
