Share market update: Fertilizer stocks mixed; Zuari Agro spikes 10%

NEW DELHI: Fertilizer stocks were trading on a mixed note in Wednesday's afternoon session.

Shares of Zuari Agro (up 10.36 per cent), Rama Phosphates (up 5.04 per cent), Nagarjuna Fertilizers & Chem (up 4.76 per cent), Gujarat Narmada Valley Fertilizers (up 2.15 per cent), Mangalore Chemicals & Fertilizers (up 1.07 per cent) and Khaitan Chemicals & Fertilizers (up 0.38 per cent) were among the top gainers.

Fertilisers and Chemicals Travancore (down 3.61 per cent), Aries Agro (down 2.81 per cent), Shiva Global Agro Industries (down 2.48 per cent), Rashtriya Chemicals & Fertilizers (down 2.38 per cent), Bharat Agri Fertilizer & Realty (down 2.27 per cent), Chambal Fertilisers & Chemicals (down 1.92 per cent) and Deepak Fertilisers (down 1.89 per cent) were among the top losers.


The NSE Nifty-50 index was trading 60.70 points down at 11992.25, while the 30 shares BSE Sensex was down 166.32 points at 40703.15 at around 02:23 pm.
