Share market update: Fertilizer stocks mixed; Rama Phosphates slips 3%

NEW DELHI: Most fertilizer stocks were trading on a mixed note in Thursday's afternoon session.

Shares of Rama Phosphates (down 2.58 per cent), Zuari Agro (down 2.22 per cent), Khaitan Chemicals & Fertilizers (down 1.76 per cent), Bharat Agri Fert & Realty (down 1.50 per cent), Nagarjuna Fertilizers & Chem (down 1.49 per cent), Mangalore Chemicals & Fertilizers (down 1.01 per cent), Southern Petrochemicals Industries (down 0.54 per cent) and Coromandel International (down 0.02 per cent) were among the top losers.

Aries Agro (up 3.63 per cent), Deepak Fertilizers & Petrochemicals (up 3.02 per cent), Basant Agro Tech (India) (up 2.80 per cent), Shiva Global Agro Industries (up 2.56 per cent), GSFC (up 1 per cent) and Rashtriya Chemicals & Fertilizers (up 0.63 per cent) were trading in the positive zone.


The NSE Nifty50 index was trading 88.25 points up at 11,552.25 while the 30share BSE Sensex was up 361.89 points at 38,960.88 at around 02:23 pm.

YES Bank (up 15.35 per cent), Indiabulls Housing Finance (up 10.52 per cent), Eicher Motors (up 5.32 per cent) and IndusInd Bank (up 4.83 per cent) were among the top gainers in the Nifty pack.

On the other hand, Vedanta (down 2.43 per cent), Grasim Industries (down 1.48 per cent), Tech Mahindra (down 1.26 per cent) and HCL Technologies (down 0.87 per cent) were trading in the red.
