Share market update: Fertilizer stocks mixed; Nagarjuna Fertilizers climbs 5%

NEW DELHI: Fertilizer stocks were trading on a mixed note in Wednesday's afternoon session.

Shares of Nagarjuna Fertilizers & Chem (up 4.66 per cent), Basant Agro Tech (India) (up 4.64 per cent), Rama Phosphates (up 2.66 per cent), M P Agro Inds. (up 1.55 per cent), Chambal Fertilisers & Chemicals (up 0.69 per cent), Bharat Agri Fertilizer & Realty (up 0.46 per cent), Zuari Agro (up 0.17 per cent) and Mangalore Chemicals & Fertilizers (up 0.16 per cent) were among the top gainers.

While Shiva Global Agro Industries (down 3.08 per cent), Fertilizers & Chemicals Tranvancore (down 1.13 per cent), Gujarat Narmada Valley Fertilizers (down 0.73 per cent), Coromandel International (down 0.62 per cent), Rashtriya Chemicals & Fertilizers (down 0.54 per cent), Khaitan Chemicals & Fertilizers (down 0.39 per cent) and Deepak Fertilizers & Petrochemicals (down 0.31 per cent) were among the top losers.


The NSE Nifty-50 index was trading 6.30 points up at 12174.75, while the 30 shares BSE Sensex was up 24.13 points at 41277.87 at around 02:57 pm.
