Share market update: Fertilizer stocks mixed; Deepak Fertilizers climbs 4%

NEW DELHI: Fertilizer stocks were trading on a mixed note in Tuesday's afternoon session.

Shares of Shiva Global Agro Industries (up 7.24 per cent), Mangalore Chemicals & Fertilizers (up 5.81 per cent), Nagarjuna Fertilizers (up 4.95 per cent), Deepak Fertilizers & Petrochemicals (up 4.20 per cent), Aries Agro (up 4.01 per cent), Khaitan Chemicals & Fertilizers (up 3.09 per cent) and Coromandel International (up 2.11 per cent), Gujarat Narmada Valley Fertilizers (up 1.06 per cent) were among the top gainers.

Zuari Agro (down 3.32 per cent), Bharat Agri Fert & Realty (down 1.67 per cent), Fertilizers & Chemicals Tranvancore (down 1.46 per cent), Rama Phosphates (down 1.05 per cent), Southern Petrochemicals Industries (down 0.44 per cent) and Chambal Fertilisers & Chemicals (down 0.38 per cent) were among the top losers.


The NSE Nifty-50 index was trading 8.90 points up at 12338.45, while the 30 shares BSE Sensex was up 9.31 points at 41869 at around 02:35 pm.
