Share market update: Fertilizer stocks gain; Zuari Agro zooms 13%

NEW DELHI: Fertilizer stocks were trading with gains in Tuesday's afternoon session.

Shares of Zuari Agro (up 12.58 per cent), Nagarjuna Fertilizers & Chem (up 5.00 per cent), Gujarat Narmada Valley Fertilizers (up 3.43 per cent), Shiva Global Agro Industries (up 3.14 per cent) and GSFC (up 2.58 per cent) were among the top gainers.

Deepak Fertilizers & Petrochemicals (up 1.25 per cent), Chambal Fertilisers & Chemicals (up 1.13 per cent), Fertilizers & Chemicals Tranvancore (up 0.97 per cent), Aries Agro (up 0.90 per cent) and Basant Agro Tech (India) (up 0.82 per cent) were the other gainers in the index.


While Khaitan Chemicals & Fertilizers (down 3.26 per cent), Southern Petrochemicals Industries (down 0.72 per cent) and Bharat Agri Fertilizer & Realty (down 0.18 per cent) were among the top losers.

The NSE Nifty-50 index was trading 33.95 points up at 12027, while the 30 shares BSE Sensex was up 111.01 points at 40787.64 at around 01:43 pm.
