Share market update: Fertilizer stocks down; Shiva Global Agro skids 8%

NEW DELHI: Fertilizer stocks were trading with losses in Thursday's afternoon session.

Shares of Shiva Global Agro Industries (down 7.52 per cent), Khaitan Chemicals & Fertilizers (down 7.22 per cent), Nagarjuna Fertilizers & Chem (down 4.85 per cent), Rama Phosphates (down 3.69 per cent), Deepak Fertilizers & Petrochemicals (down 3.48 per cent), Gujarat Narmada Valley Fertilizers (down 3.32 per cent), Basant Agro Tech (India) (down 2.75 per cent), ZUARIAGRO (down 2.58 per cent), Rashtriya Chemicals & Fertilizers (down 2.22 per cent), Aries Agro (down 2.16 per cent), National Fertilizer (down 2.03 per cent), G S F C (down 1.86 per cent), Southern Petrochemicals Industries (down 1.80 per cent), Fertilizers & Chemicals Tranvancore (down 1.63 per cent) and Mangalore Chemicals & Fertilizers (down 0.88 per cent) were among the top losers.

The NSE Nifty50 index was trading 107.95 points down at 12021.55, while the 30share BSE Sensex was down 323.46 points at 40875.2 at around 02:08 pm.
