Share market update: Fertilizer stocks bullish; Rama Phosphates gains 8%

NEW DELHI: Fertilizer stocks were trading on a positive note in Monday's morning session.

Shares of Rama Phosphates (up 7.75 per cent), Nagarjuna Fertilizers & Chem (up 1.53 per cent), Aries Agro (up 1.30 per cent), Zuari Agro (up 0.76 per cent), Fertilizers & Chemicals Tranvancore (up 0.39 per cent), Chambal Fertilisers & Chemicals (up 0.31 per cent), Southern Petrochemicals Industries (up 0.27 per cent), Bharat Agri Fert & Realty (up 0.25 per cent) and Rashtriya Chemicals & Fertilizers (up 0.22 per cent) were among the top gainers.

While Khaitan Chemicals & Fertilizers (down 5.34 per cent), Mangalore Chemicals & Fertilizers (down 1.26 per cent), Deepak Fertilizers & Petrochemicals (down 0.97 per cent), Gujarat Narmada Valley Fertilizers (down 0.83 per cent), Coromandel International (down 0.38 per cent) and Basant Agro Tech (India) (down 0.32 per cent) were among the top losers.


The NSE Nifty 50 index was trading 7.00 points down at 12264.8, while the 30 shares BSE Sensex was down 58.89 points at 41622.65 at around 11:21 am.
