Share market update: Edelweiss, LIC Housing among top losers on BSE
In the Nifty pack, 23 stocks were in the green, while 27 stocks were in the red.

NEW DELHI: The domestic equity benchmark BSE Sensex was trading 48.66 points up at 41,306.40 on account of buying in frontline bluechip counters.
Shares of Vama Industries (down 19.75 per cent), Samrat Pharma (down 18.10 per cent), Mahalaxmi Rub (down 17.23 per cent), P G Foils (down 15.47 per cent), Jyoti Resins (down 10.45 per cent), S P Apparels Ltd. (down 10.39 per cent), Sanwaria Consumer (down 9.83 per cent), Golden Goenka (down 9.80 per cent), Calcom Vision (down 9.77 per cent), Lykis Ltd (down 9.33 per cent), Edelweiss Financial Services (down 9.11 per cent) and LIC Housing Finance (down 7.78 per cent) were among the top losers.

The Nifty index was trading 7.30 points up at 12,120.75.
