Share market update: DHFL, Vakrangee among top gainers on BSE
Among the 50 components in the Nifty index, 42 shares were trading in the green, while 8 were in the red.

NEW DELHI: The domestic equity benchmark BSE Sensex was trading 189.93 points up at 37,684.05 on account of buying in frontline bluechip counters.
Shares of United Drilling (up 19.25 per cent) , BSEL Infra (up 17.89 per cent) , Akme Star Housing Finance Ltd. (up 17.38 per cent) , Tirupati Sarjan (up 16.88 per cent) , Ind Renewable Energy (up 16.78 per cent) , Cybermate Info (up 16.11 per cent) , Niraj Cement (up 16.02 per cent) , Kkalpana lndustries (up 12.50 per cent) , Sastasundar Venture (up 12.02 per cent), Minda Corp (up 11.60 per cent), DHFL (up 6.68 per cent) and Vakrangee (up 6.22 per cent) were among the top performers.
The Nifty 50 index was trading 60.70 points up at 11,118.55.
