Share market update: Cement stocks mixed; Shri Keshav Cements climbs 9%

NEW DELHI: Cement stocks were trading on a mixed note in Thursday's afternoon session.

Shares of Shri Keshav Cements (up 8.52 per cent), Burnpur Cement (up 4.86 per cent), Orient Cement (up 3.58 per cent), Prism Johnson (up 2.66 per cent), KCP (up 2.45 per cent), Andhra Cements (up 1.93 per cent), NCL Industries (up 1.05 per cent), JK Lakshmi Cement (up 0.60 per cent), Star Cement (up 0.56 per cent), Udaipur Cement Works (up 0.55 per cent) and Dalmia Bharat (up 0.01 per cent) were among the top gainers.

While Barak Valley Cements (down 4.87 per cent), Shiva Cement (down 2.94 per cent), Sagar Cements (down 0.87 per cent), Sanghi Industries (down 0.82 per cent), Heidelberg Cement India (down 0.73 per cent), Ambuja Cements (down 0.66 per cent), Deccan Cements (down 0.37 per cent), J K Cements (down 0.35 per cent), Century Textiles & Industries (down 0.35 per cent) were among the top losers.


The NSE Nifty 50 index was trading 46.95 points down at 12167.6, while the 30 shares BSE Sensex was down 153.08 points at 41308.18 at around 01:56 pm.
