Share market update: Cement stocks mixed; Orient Cement jumps 5%

NEW DELHI: Cement stocks were trading on a mixed note in Thursday's afternoon session.
Shares of Orient Cement Ltd (up 5.01 per cent), Andhra Cements (up 3.42 per cent), Keerthi Industries (up 3.04 per cent), The Ramco Cements Ltd (up 2.76 per cent) and Sanghi Industries (up 2.47 per cent) were among the top gainers.
While SKCIL (down 4.66 per cent), Shree Digvijay Cement Co (down 2.06 per cent), Gujarat Sidhee Cement (down 1.95 per cent), India Cements (down 1.32 per cent) and Burnpur Cement (down 1.30 per cent) were among the top losers.
The NSE Nifty50 index was trading 87.10 points down at 11321.3, while the 30 share BSE Sensex was down 352.37 points at 38262.42 at around 02:50PM.
