Share market update: Cement stocks mixed; KCP Ltd leaps 8%

NEW DELHI: Cement stocks were trading on a mixed note in Monday's afternoon session.
Shares of KCP Ltd (up 8.13 per cent), Deccan Cements (up 5.42 per cent), Shree Digvijay Cement Co (up 5.15 per cent), APCL (up 4.31 per cent) and Kakatiya Cements Sugar & Industries (up 2.04 per cent) were among the top gainers.
While Keerthi Industries (down 4.89 per cent), Burnpur Cement (down 3.85 per cent), SKCIL (down 2.31 per cent), Barak Valley Cements (down 2.14 per cent) and Birla Corporation (down 1.77 per cent) were among the top losers.
The NSE Nifty50 index was trading 42.30 points up at 11220.7, while the 30 share BSE Sensex was up 75.04 points at 37952.38 at around 02:44PM.
