Share market update: BSE Capital Goods index flat; NBCC rises 2%

NEW DELHI: The S&P BSE Capital Goods index was flat in Monday's afternoon session.

Shares of NBCC (India) (up 2.67 per cent) , Schaeffler India (up 2.52 per cent) , Lakshmi Machine Works (up 0.88 per cent) and Honeywell Automation India (up 0.73 per cent) were trading with gains.

While Thermax (down 1.19 per cent) , ABB India (down 1.01 per cent) , Carborundum Universal (down 0.94 per cent) and Siemens (down 0.93 per cent) were trading lower.


The S&P BSE Capital Goods index was trading 0.02 per cent up at 17,836.74 around 11:52 am.

Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index was down 11.60 points at 11,883.85 while the BSE Sensex was down 82.20 points at 40,274.49.

Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty index, 27 were trading in the green, while 23 were in the red.

Shares of Vodafone Idea, YES Bank, Bharti Airtel, SBI, BHEL, JSPL, GMR Infra, L&T Fin Holding and HPCL were among the most traded shares on the NSE.
