Share market update: BSE Capital Goods index dips; Graphite India falls over 3%

Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index was down 1.80 points at 10,903.40 while the BSE Sensex was up 10.53 points at 36,384.61.

Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty index, 23 were trading in the green, while 27 were in the red.
NEW DELHI: The S&P BSE Capital Goods index was trading 0.89 per cent down at 17,797.52 on Friday.

Shares of Graphite India (down 3.12 per cent), Sadbhav Engineering (down 2.56 per cent), Larsen & Toubro (down 1.59 per cent) and Dilip Buildcon (down 1.21 per cent) were the top losers in the index.

Carborundum Universal (down 0.84 per cent), NBCC (India) (down 0.76 per cent) and Suzlon Energy (down 0.75 per cent) too were trading lower.

Shares of Reliance Communications, Sun Pharma, YES Bank, Jet Airways, JP Associates, Tata Power, Vakrangee, RIL, IDFC First Bank, Adani Power, Suzlon Energy, Federal Bank, South Indian Bank, Ashok Leyland, SBI, GMR Infra, JSPL and PNB were among the most traded shares on the NSE.
