Share market update: BPCL, SCI among top gainers on BSE

NEW DELHI: The domestic equity benchmark BSE Sensex was trading 227.35 points up at 38,894.68 on account of buying in frontline bluechip counters.

Shares of Kkalpana lndustries (up 11.92 per cent), SCI (up 10.88 per cent), Shree Rama News (up 10.65 per cent), Jeevan Scientific Technology Ltd. (up 10.19 per cent), Murudeshwar Ceramics (up 10.11 per cent), Dynamic Industries (up 9.56 per cent), De Nora India (up 9.46 per cent), Lawreshwar (up 9.05 per cent), Majestic Auto (up 9.05 per cent), Nahar Poly Film (up 8.85 per cent), BPCL (up 8.13 per cent) were among the top performers.

The Nifty 50 index was trading 67.80 points up at 11,542.25.


Among the 50 components in the Nifty index, 36 shares were trading in the green, while 12 were in the red.
