Share market update: Bharti Airtel, Vodafone Idea among top gainers on BSE

NEW DELHI: The domestic equity benchmark BSE Sensex was trading 176.95 points down at 38,001 on account of selling in frontline bluechip counters.

Shares of Indo Tech Trans (up 20.00 per cent) , Trans & Rectifiers (up 19.63 per cent) , Automotive Stamp (up 17.27 per cent) , Somi Conveyor (up 16.58 per cent), Vodafone Idea (up 16.27 per cent) , Super Spinning (up 13.67 per cent) , Padmanabh Industries (up 11.36 per cent) , Riddhi Corporate Services (up 11.11 per cent), RDB Rasayans (up 10.30 per cent), Solitaire (up 10.15 per cent) and Bharti Airtel (up 5 per cent) were among the top performers.

The Nifty 50 index was trading 46.60 points down at 11,266.70.


Among the 50 components in the Nifty index, 10 shares were trading in the green, while 40 were in the red.
